I have a couch that requires a slipcover. I paid ALOT of money for it to be made in spring of 2007. The owner of the store has had one problem and excuse after another, and finally seems willing to order my cover. It has supposedly been ordered 2 times, maybe the third will be the charm.
I now have a debt in the exact amount as the slipcover, and possibly the willingness of this lady to refund.
My couch is in tatters and I really need this slipcover...
Would Dave want me to have a beautiful new slipcover that I have been waiting 2 1/2 years for? Or should I take the money and pay off my debt?
~~~sigh~~~ I think I know.... Do you think it would be hard to make one?
Yeah the fact that the debt is the exact same amount as the slip cover is probably the clincher in that whole thing.
On the other hand, you've waited soo long the lady should send you the slip cover AND refund your money!!
I definately think you could sew a slipcover. Just think how good you will feel when your debt is paid off!
good to see you all yesterday!!
I want to make a slipcover for my sofa. Maybe we can make them together?
Girl - you can sew anything. Give it a try.
How about a redneck slipcover--an old sheet! Stained if possible.
Tiff,
Can I just borrow your sheet off your couch?
I have a better idea! Drive through the backroads of our redneck town and "borrow" one from someone's front porch! Hey--you could even leave yours there--so it could be a trade! That way you get a new couch! :)
I'm with Julie-she owes you both...but I think you should try to make one, and I'll help, because I have a couch that needs a slip cover too.
Why, oh WHY, my "anti word verification" friend, is there WORD VERIFICATION on your blog???
Why am I typing batylcar?
