5 1/2 cups flour
4 cups water
3/4 cup oil
8 tsp cream of tarter
2 cups salt
food coloring or scent of choice
Mix water, oil, tarter, salt in a big pot on a cold stove. I then add the flour and stir until well blended. Then turn on heat to medium and add coloring. Stir and stir until mixture forms a doughy consistency of play-doh. This takes some muscles! Then turn it out on waxed paper and work it until smooth. Play and have fun!!

that looks like so much fun. I have been thinking lately that we need to make some homemade playdough.
