Things I really hate...

* when there is a really good coupon and I have no ink to print it, yet I try just because I am sure one more drop can be squeezed out, and the bar code is so faded that I know I will have to convince the cashier that no, I did not copy this illegally... and when I go back to print it when i have ink it says "you have already printed this the number of times allowed"

* Feeding a chicken for 2 months and anxiously awaiting the first egg, only to be told by my ten year old niece that the chicken in question will never lay any eggs because she is a he.... and having to tell my husband that invested 2 months in a rooster and will have to continue purchasing eggs while just enjoying the "look" of our million dollar chicken coop....

* Spending 40 minutes checking out at customer service because they would like to analyze every bar code and coupon I used legitimately, with three kids in tow. At that point I no longer got onto the kids when they popped their 3rd balloon, and Ethan kicked the battery display stand over...Oops ;) Maybe they will check me out faster next time, huh??

* sassy mouthed pre teen girls.....ughhhhh.....

Hope everyone is having a good day...

When I need to chill, I head down to the farm to watch the chickens. They are so cool!

I can't relate to the chickens, I love watching the nature outside near the lake.
What Publix to you shop at? It would be easier to shop at the same one so I don't have the hassle at mine.

Leisa, I think you should introduce yourself at Publix as the "homeschooling coupon rep" and just tell them that you are sending hundreds of people in to do what you do so they should just figure out the policy once and for all and that way when coupon virgins like me go in we don't get scared. I am getting very nervous about this whole thing. I'm headed to Publix later to use my buy 1 meat get 2 free Q and I am just panic stricken over the whole thing. I may bail and just go to Alberstons, even though I am morally opposed to that stinky filthy store that sell rotten veggies, but I can just see them giving me a hard time and running out of the store. Sorry, this was long.

Hang tight AM, that albies Q will work for Publix go to Mt Dora. Ask to see Kathy Soliday at customer service if the cashier gives you trouble. Do not let Kathy with long curly hair who is a team leader bully you. Just sweetly say I need to see the manager.

You shouldn't have a problem, I used the london broil Q there and it is their POLICY to take that coupon ;)

Let me know

Leisa

It worked! It worked! But boy was I nervous, like I was doing something illegal. As a matter of fact they probably are reviewing video of me because I was asting like I did something wrong, even though I hadn't. I was so happy! I can see this getting addicting.

Details, AM, Details..

Did you pick out steaks, and what was the price, and did they question you at check out? I have always used that Q for roast, but never steaks so I am interested in what their equivalent steak is called.

There have been many trips I was sure that I should hurry and load up my grocery booty before they changed their minds and came out after me!!

I used the meat coupon at the N. Eustis Publix and it was fine. The cashier verified it with a manager quickly but was very nice about it. Also, the N. Eustis Publix has a coupon exchange box at the front of the store. Do the other publix stores?
