Fay came and went and we now have a bathroom ceiling to paint, because of the squirrels!
It is open season in our yard. Come one an all with your B.B. guns, we have about 45,000 squirrels on our 1/4 acre lot. They scamper across my pool cage, do obscene things on my front porch, eat and tear up my bird feeders, and NOW they have eaten through the molding around a roof vent. Thus letting rain pour into the attic and stain my ceiling!!
So aid me in a little population control!

Hey Leisa, I read that sprinkling cayenne pepper on plants will keep squirrels away. Apparently it doesn't affect the plants but the squirrels hate it. It's worth a try!
Funny squirrel picture! I didn't know they did this though! We have them running around on our roof too. In NC, use to have them come up to the window and peek in while we were homeschooling...talk about a distraction for 6 year old boys!
We have pesky squirrels too, and although they haven't done as much damage as you've had, my boys' dad gave them free reign with their BB guns. The squirrels taunt our dogs. They always seem to do this when we are homeschooling, with the schoolroom window overlooking the site of the squirrel wars. Yes, distracting.
