Okay it is not Thursday, but there are some great weekend grocery deals out there that I thought I might share.

I LOVE the sales at Albertsons, esp. in the meat dept.!!! My mom goes there all the time and use to call me from the store with their meat sales :o)! So, I decided to give it a try! For the last two weeks, when I meal plan with their flyer (it comes in the mail on Thurs, I believe), and shop with any corresponding coupons, I have saved over $125 on EACH trip! Really! The first time I shopped there when they were having one of their pantry 10 for $10 sales (on tons of items), I actually stopped shopping b/c I thought I had WAY exceeded our weekly budget. I was totally surprised to find out I hadn't even spent our normal amount for the week and had twice to three times the amount of food! And our freezer is stocked full of meat purchased at GREAT deals for the weeks ahead... so my carnivorous husband who has an aversion to casseroles is happy!
I will say, that there are items I don't buy there, b/c of inflated prices, such as cereal (is usually ridiculous, compared to Wal-Mart or even Publix brands) and sometimes dairy.
But you should really go and give it a try! I'm now a regular shopper! Heather
Publix also has Ben and Jerry's BOGO...I just had some!

I raked in at albertsons, my deep freeze is full with meat, roasts and chicken and I got out for 120, which included lunchmeat, canned items and paper products.
Then I hit publix and stocked up the pantry ;)
We are having potroast and homemade mash potatos for dinner, yumm
You bargain hunter. Wow, you are the daughter my mom always wanted. I used to just go to one store, but now, with four kids, I have to bite the bullet and actually do the multi-store trips. Thanks for sharing these bargains.
